What we collect, why, who processes it, and the rights you have over it.
We store the information you give us directly: your email address, profile details (name, username, bio, tags), photos you upload, messages sent through the contact flow, and leads generated when someone reaches out to you. If you use paid features, our payments provider processes your payment details — we receive only a confirmation and limited transaction metadata, never your full card number.
We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (performance of our contract with you), to keep the platform safe and lawful and prevent abuse (our legitimate interests), to process payments you initiate, and where required to meet legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising.
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: an email delivery provider to send and relay messages, hosting and storage providers to serve your page and photos, and a payments provider (Stripe) if you use paid features. Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the service, under their own data-protection commitments.
Some of our processors operate outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the processor's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognized transfer mechanism.
We keep your account data for as long as your page is active. When you delete your page, we remove your personal data from our active systems, retaining only what we're legally required to keep (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting). Anonymous usage counters are deleted automatically after 90 days.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
We keep anonymous first-party usage counters (e.g. how many people viewed a page) to understand and improve the product. These use no cookies, are never shared with third parties, and are automatically deleted after 90 days.
You can request access to the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format — at any time by emailing hello@proudstage.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
ProudStage is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we delete it.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
