How payments, refunds, cancellations, and disputes work.
Payments on ProudStage are a tip or ongoing monthly support sent voluntarily by a fan to a creator. They are a gift of support, not a purchase of specific goods with a right of return. Monthly support renews until it is cancelled.
You can cancel monthly support at any time, and it stops at the end of the current billing period — you are not charged again after you cancel. There is no cancellation fee. One-time tips are complete the moment they are sent.
One-time tips are final once processed. We will, however, refund a charge that was: (1) a duplicate — you were billed twice for the same tip by mistake; (2) unauthorized — your payment method was used without your permission; or (3) an obvious technical error on our side. Contact us with the transaction details and we investigate every request.
Reach out through the Support page with the email used, the approximate date and amount, and what happened. We respond to every refund request within a few business days and resolve confirmed duplicate, unauthorized, or erroneous charges promptly.
If something went wrong, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank — direct resolution is faster and we refund valid claims. We cooperate fully with your card issuer on any dispute and provide the transaction records. Filing fraudulent chargebacks may result in losing access to your page.
If you are in the EU, distance purchases normally carry a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because support is delivered to the creator immediately and in full, by sending it you expressly request immediate performance and agree that your right of withdrawal ends once the payment is made, under the digital-content exception (EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)).
